My Story
I’ve never had a straight path—just a drive to figure things out. I grew up watching my parents work hard, never having a safety net, which meant I learned early that if something was going to happen, it was up to me. That mindset shaped everything.
Hockey was my first real lesson in work ethic. I wasn’t naturally gifted, but I put in the hours—on the ice, at the outdoor rink, wherever I could. When I wasn’t playing, I was learning. That need to get good at something stuck with me.
After hockey, I found myself deep in music. DJing became my next obsession—not just playing tracks but reading a room, knowing when to push, when to hold back, how to create something people felt. That ability to connect with an audience shaped how I approach everything today.
I didn’t plan on a career in marketing, brand building, or storytelling. But over years of working in corporate, running digital campaigns, and producing content, I realized something—people connect with stories, not sales pitches. That’s where I thrive.
Now, I run Shortline Creative and The Calgary Sessions, bringing stories to life in a way that feels real. Whether it’s a podcast, a brand video, or a marketing campaign, my work is about finding the human side of the story and telling it in a way that sticks.
No fluff. No over-the-top inspiration. Just real stories, told well.
